Soul Journeys and Inner Realm Explorations
A
re you sure that the human world is the terminal point in the evolution Of the cosmos? Is it not conceivable that there is still another dimension, A world beyond man's world; a world in which the question of an ultimate Meaning of human suffering would find an answer?
Viktor Frankl, "Man's Search for Meaning" pg 123

This kind of work is a powerful exploration in the vast realm of the human mind which transforms and brings depth and meaning to one's life. It is a process of personal growth and spiritual enlightenment.  Past life journeys, Soul Journeys and Spiritual Regression are all elements of Inner Realm Exploration that promote self knowledge and a better understanding of others.  Within our subconscious mind reside the doorways into our Soul’s wisdom which include memories of all our past experiences. Accessing this information allows us to heal the traumas whose roots may be found in our past.  Inner realm exploration guides us to the source of our problems as well as our innate strengths which promotes releasing, forgiveness and healing. This enables us to bring growth and strength to our present life and take control of our future. These techniques assist in opening the way to true self and a greater sense of life purpose.

Today there seems to be a need for investigating and understanding these spiritual dimensions of being human. Spiritual experiences have played a large part in the history and development of humanity, and have helped create some of the fundamental and most basic aspects of our various cultures. Spirituality includes but is not the same as religious belief. When we open up to our spirituality we remove inner barriers to the divine aspect of ourselves. For many spirituality is not a matter of belief or interpretation of the world, but of deep knowing. Spirituality is universal and all-embracing, based on direct experience rather than dogma or religious scripture. It is these kinds of experiences, of inner knowing and connection to our own spark of the divine, that have inspired humanity's most creative works. While the scientific methods of measurement and standardization have their place, the rich and varied information that comes from alternate forms of knowing and recording the experiences of being human present an important perspective of understanding our world and our place in the universe.

Western society uses scientific thought and methods to attempt to understand and control the many physical aspects of existence in the physical world. But, even as they are measured and standardized by that scientific method, perhaps such definitions and measurements are not quite enough. There seems to be some kind of spiritual evolution, some need for purpose and depth that is getting more and more demanding. The impact and influence which the ancient wisdom still has on us today are an important part of understanding how regression therapy works and the place it has in modern society.

Philosopher and author Healing, John Sanford tells us that while healing is the goal of all therapies, sometimes healing involves hardship and pain, because, according to Sanford, the process of healing is part of the process of becoming whole. Redefining the healing process so that the connections between physical healing and spiritual healing is part of the transpersonal realm can be seen and known is part of age regression or past life regression therapy and life between lives or spiritual regression therapy.
